Just over a week ago, L’Aubergade Hotel, Zuri Aura, Cab Collective and Finest Hour Clothing got together to gather the Morzine Community under one roof. Yes man, our aim was to party, but all in the effort to raise money for the desperate refugee situation of the Calais ‘Jungle’ Camp, supported by grassroots operation L’Auberge Des Migrants.
The wild Sunday eve kicked off with rock n’ roll and crowd surfing from Cab Collective, followed by the real feel-good skankin’ to Zuri Aura’s infectious dub reggae tracks! We set up the Finest Hour pop shop to spread the love for the mountains with our season inspired goods, all the while the cheery L’Aubergade bar staff sold toffee vodka shots by the hundreds! Taking it turns to jam, the bands jumped on off the stage to entertain the mad Morzine crowd!
Big up to all the shredders and revellers, who helped us in our efforts to raise €1543.33 for L’Auberge Des Migrants, an insane effort by al involved. BIG THANKS to L’Aubergade Hotel, Cab Collective and Zuri Aura, without all of you the event simply couldn’t have achieved such collaborative success.
Let’s continue to spread the peace and love from the mountains, and never take the snow-topped roof of the world for granted!
